The first edition of the Encyclopedia published by Diderot and D'Alembert in Paris between 1751 and 1772 aimed to systematize the enormous knowledge that circulated in 18th century Europe, following an alphabetical order. Laudable mission that was linked to another no less important, to democratize knowledge, making it available to all.
La primera edición de la Enciclopedia publicada por Diderot y D’Alembert en París entre 1751 y 1772 tuvo como objetivo sistematizar el enorme saber que circulaba en la Europa del siglo XVIII, siguiendo una ordenación alfabética. Loable misión que iba unida a otra no menos importante, democratizar el saber, poniéndolo al alcance de todos.
