LA PAUSA

This is a habitable and ephemeral installation, conceived as a space for encountering oneself and the city. It is meant to be lived in: you can sit, rest, read, contemplate, or simply let time pass. Here, each visitor can pause, breathe, think, or give in to curiosity.

Designed for transit spaces, such as this subway station, this installation is open to everyone, without distinction. Its accessible and temporary nature invites spontaneous interaction, transforming hurried passage into an experience of tranquility and reflection.

The elements that comprise it—lightweight scaffolding, hammocks, lamps, shelves, and parasols—evoke diverse ways of moving, inhabiting, reading, and traversing the city. This structure, as urban as it is welcoming, reminds us that it is always possible to stop for a moment and reconnect with what is essential.

Esta es una instalación habitable y efímera, pensada como un espacio de encuentro consigo mismo y con la ciudad. Está hecha para ser vivida: puede sentarse, descansar, leer, contemplar o simplemente dejar pasar el tiempo. Aquí, cada visitante puede hacer una pausa, respirar, pensar o dejarse llevar por la curiosidad.

Diseñada para lugares de tránsito, como esta estación del metro, esta instalación está abierta a todas las personas, sin distinción. Su carácter accesible y temporal invita a habitarla de forma espontánea, transformando el paso apresurado en una experiencia de tranquilidad y reflexión. 

Los elementos que la componen —andamios livianos, hamacas, lámparas, estantes y parasoles— evocan diversas formas de moverse, habitar, leer y transitar la ciudad. Esta estructura, tan urbana como acogedora, nos recuerda que siempre es posible detenerse un momento y reconectar con lo esencial.
